WCF insures more than half of all Utah employers. Companies of all sizes and industries rely on WCF for workers' compensation coverage. Our longevity and financial strength, important factors to employers when they select a carrier, are recognized by the industry's leading rating companies, A.M. Best (A-, Excellent) and Standard & Poor's (Api, Strong).

WCF is proud of its business achievements and is committed to returning resources to the community that has made it successful. The Company and its employees contribute to many charitable causes, including Change for Charity in which employees donate at least a dollar to a selected charity in exchange for dressing casually. Corporate officers are involved with Prevent Blindness Utah, Intermountain Health Care, the Economic Development Corporation of Utah, the Jordan Education Foundation and the Utah Symphony.
However, it is scholarship programs that make WCF's community leadership stand out. WCF sponsors two programs annually - Safe Workplace and Legacy of Learning.

Safe Workplace scholarships assist graduate students studying industrial hygiene and safety and ergonomics. Recipients share WCF's goal of making every workplace safer.

Legacy of Learning scholarships provide educational assistance to spouses and children of WCF-insured workers who lost their lives in work-related accidents. The scholarships help turn a tragic event into one which focuses family members on planning for the future and reaching academic goals. Legacy of Learning has distributed more than 650 scholarships worth more than $1 million.

In the coming years, WCF will continue to offer superior services and expand to meet our customers' needs. The Company's commitment to Utah employers and employees is a reflection of the high standards of quality, integrity and scope of services that WCF strives to provide.
